Why is the on-line registration not secure?

Our privacy policy stipulates that the information concerning you, which is submitted with the forms that you fill out on this site, remains strictly confidential and aims essentially to establish statistics about Challenge participants. This information will neither be shared nor sold to anyone. We use it simply to improve the site and the services offered to participants as well as to better target our actions for the population and participants of future editions of the 5/30 Health Challenge. It is possible that this data, once depersonalized, could be used for research purposes.

We have never felt the necessity to secure our connection with an SSL certificate, generally indicated by a small lock appearing in your browser. We made this decision for several reasons: the most important reason was that you don’t need to make any monetary transaction on the site.

Even though your date of birth is requested, it is done only for the purpose of establishing an age statistic that most represents the reality of our participants. This allows us to develop and adapt our plans to best meet the needs of those taking up the Challenge.

No material has yet been produced specifically for students or teachers. The support kits offered at IGA are meant more for parents than children.
