Authority and Responsibilities
1. ACTI-MENU holds FINAL AUTHORITY with regard to judgment and decisions regarding registration of participants, evaluation of the eligibility of 5/30 Health Challenge potential winners, and the awarding of prizes.2. Subject to the application of the Act Respecting Lotteries, Publicity Contests and Amusement Machines related to the present 5/30 Health Challenge, any dispute with regard to the organization or conduct of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec. A dispute with regard to the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec only for the purpose of an intervention to attempt to resolve such dispute.
3. ACTI-MENU, its employees and consultants, as well as the organizers, partners, and sponsors of the 5/30 Health Challenge MAY NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE in the case of accident, loss, theft, or any other problem or costs related, directly or indirectly, to the acquisition or use of a prize.
4. The applicable taxes, under the Act Respecting Lotteries, Publicity Contests and Amusement Machines have been paid.
5. The refusal to accept a prize frees ACTI-MENU from any obligation related to said prize, including its delivery.
6. ACTI-MENU and its agents are not responsible for technical, mechanical, computer, telephone, telecommunications, distribution, or production errors and may cancel or withdraw the draw if such errors arise, without obligation and without prior notice, at its sole discretion, subject to authorization by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec.
7. ACTI-MENU is not responsible either for damages caused to the computer systems of users following their participation in the contest nor in the downloading of information necessary to participate in the contest.
